Cupcake Fever!

I have caught cupcake fever... it all started with a friend family bake-off, now my daughter and I are sick with the fever! Every Sunday we have a ritual now of finding new and interesting cupcakes to bake! They are mini cupcakes mostly and her class and my co-workers seem to reap the majority of the benefits of these sweet treats! We have done Red Velvet cupcakes (c'mon... I live in the south for pete-sake - that is a must make!), Red Velvet Whoopie Pies (read previous comment *ha*), Cherry Coca Cola Cupcakes, Strawberry Bannana cupcakes, and my last endevour - Margarita Cupcakes with a Patron cupcake topper... I don't know when the fever will end, but I think I can live with this sickness... plus I am getting a lot of orders for cupcakes (yes, I take orders)... We also threw in a week for brownies - we made Rocky Road brownies! I keep thinking maybe one day I can make it on Cupcake Wars (how fun would that be!) Thanks for letting me share!

Hey Pumpkin! Happy Halloween

This summer in Georgia has really been a HOT one! Not that every summer in GA is not a scorcher - but this summer heat seems like it is not going to go away and let Fall come in quietly... Trying to force cooler weather into my mind, I started making Fall projects. Here is my first... I was feeling in a Halloween mood. Why I do not know, since this is not one of my favorite holidays of the year... but my daughter seems to enjoy this holiday and is asking about costumes to wear now... I LOVED the pumpkins in this stamp and have had it for awhile and making a promise to myself to utilize stamps and stash that I have and save some money (times are tight for everybody - plus you can't eat stamps and patterned paper). So digging into my old stash to make new creations... Thanks for taking a look... :)

Moving From Paper to Other Pretty Little Things...

I have been in a creative funk for a couple of months... but now that my juices have started to flow again... there are some patterns I really wanted to try out in fabric rather than paper... some of my favorite images I use for cards I wanted to make patterns for shirts... so here are a couple of my works...
